Returning Students:  The parent portal will populate the correct level for your dancer based on their skills and experience.

Acrobatic Arts Class Levels:


Ready Set Acro: This class sets the stage with foundational skills in flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling, designed for the youngest enthusiasts to get a taste of acro's magic. Suitable for all dancers with other without experience.


Acro 1/2:  As students advance to Level 2, they encounter more defined flexibility and strength goals, like holding a plank for 20 seconds, and begin tackling balancing acts such as the teddy bear stand. Tumbling skills including the cartwheel enhance their coordination and acrobatic flair.

 

Acro 3: Level 3 dancers begin to refine their technique and increase their strength, flexibility, and balance.
 

Acro 4/5: Level 4 ups the ante, challenging students with skills like bridge kickovers, bridge prances, and handstand shoulder shrugs. The focus here is on increasing endurance and introducing more complex tumbling sequences.

 

Acro 6: Level 6 deepens the flexibility requirements and introduces intricate balancing skills like the chest stand and forearm stand, and more challenging tumbling skills including flying cartwheels, front walkovers, and back walkovers, preparing students for the more demanding aspects of AcroDance.
 

Acro 7/8: Level 7-8 is where students truly shine, mastering full splits, demonstrating impressive balancing skills such as handstand walking and one-arm shoulder stands, as well as dynamic skills such as the side aerial and back handspring, showcasing their advanced acrobatic capabilities. 

 

Pre-Professional Levels 1-3: Finally, the Pre-Professional Levels 1-3 are the zenith of Acro Dance education. Here, students perfect high-level skills like the front aerial and back layout, as well as impressive balancing and fexiblity element encapsulating the art of AcroDance. Dancers also perform complex sequences, showcasing their precision, strength, and flexibility with performance pieces that captivate and inspire.
