About:

The Project31 Apprentice Training Program is an immersive concert dance experience. Dancers within the program have the opportunity to work and train directly with professional dancers. The Apprentice Training Program (ATP) is designed for talented dancers ages 14+ who are interested in pursuing dance as a career or college major. This pre-professional group performs separately and alongside Project31’s Professional Company, providing each dancer with the invaluable experience of learning the discipline, drive, technique, and work ethic that is required to be a member of a professional company. Junior Apprentices have the ability to build a portfolio of dancing outside the traditional competition and convention setting. Dancers will learn what concert dance is as well as gain an in-depth understanding of classical and contemporary techniques. Graduates of Project31’s Apprentice Training Program have been accepted to and attended prestigious dance training programs including the Professional Program at The Ailey School, Roger Williams University,  the University Of Vermont, Hofstra University, Adelphi University, Slippery Rock University, Ohio State University, AMDA, Boston Conservatory, Connecticut College, Dean College, Bridgewater State University, as well as the Disney College Program.

Requirements for Participation :

  • Minors must have parental consent and support  to participate
